Yeah, title says all. I have serious writers block in my futuristic utopia/end of the world novel, Paradichlorobenzene, which I really was hoping to start posting soon. I haven't been able to get past the first page and it's really killing me. So instead, I've put that on hold and moved to my next big project, which I'm calling (for now, until I can think of something better) Phantom. It's set in a Victorian world, where, unbeknownst to the normal people, everything is surrounded by a secondary world known simply as the Netherworld, where all the paranormal reside--ghosts, warlocks, witches, werewolves, vampires, necromancers, and the occasional skeleton. They gather in the great city, Arcadia. 16-year-old Jackson Blair is a phantom attending Arcadia Academy, a prestigious school that trains the best of the young paranormals to protect their world, and not just from the "Seen" (the normals), but also from their own kind. What will happen when a rouge witch threatens the peace and safety of both worlds, and Jack's past finally comes back to haunt him?
Yeah, I suck at teasers. I'm currently building up each character, and hope to have the profiles done soon. I won't post those, because they contain spoilers :33
I have started the first chapter, and have already gotten further than I anticipated. With that said, I mean, past the first page.
